Terms of Service

Effective November 4, 2026

These terms apply to your use of PermitMile (permitmile.com), a compliance service for trucking carriers operated by Glo Matrix LLC ("we", "us"). By using PermitMile you agree to these terms.

PermitMile reminder texts (SMS terms)

Program name: PermitMile Filing Reminders.

What you will receive: account notification texts telling you when a compliance step is waiting on you (for example, a document to upload) or when quarterly IFTA mileage and fuel figures are due. No marketing messages are sent.

How to opt in: (shown on our text reminders page) sign in to PermitMile, enter your mobile number in the "Reminder texts" section (the portal home page for carriers, Settings for staff), check the consent box, and click "Turn on texts."

Message frequency: message frequency varies, and is at most one text per reminder per day.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details on any fees for text messaging.

Opt out: reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or END to any text to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation text and no further texts. You can also turn texts off in PermitMile at any time.

Help: reply HELP or INFO to any text, or email support@permitmile.com.

Supported carriers: PermitMile texts are supported on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and other major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No guarantee of delivery: PermitMile is not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by your mobile carrier or device.

Privacy: see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile number. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to act for the business you sign up for. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the activity of users you invite to your workspace. Use PermitMile only for lawful purposes.

Plans and pricing

The Carrier plan is for a trucking company managing its own compliance. It is priced by fleet size: one monthly price for each range of active trucks, as shown on the pricing page. The truck count on your account sets your tier, and adding or archiving a truck that crosses into another range changes your next invoice, prorated for the rest of the month.

The Pro and Enterprise plans are for permit and compliance services that manage other companies' compliance as a business. A trucking company may not use a shop plan to manage its own trucks or those of companies it owns or controls. If we find a shop account used that way, we may move it to the Carrier plan at that plan's price, after telling you first. Self-serve checkout covers fleets of up to 25 trucks; fleets of 26 or more trucks contact us for fleet pricing.

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe and renew automatically each month until you cancel. The Carrier plan starts with a 7-day free trial on a company's first Carrier subscription. You enter a card to start it, and we charge that card for your first month when the 7 days end unless you cancel before then. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. Shop plans have no free trial. You can cancel at any time from Settings > Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it. If a payment fails, we will tell you and may limit the account until it is paid. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your plan. A founders' rate, where offered, stays at the stated price for as long as the subscription stays active.

Your responsibility for filings

PermitMile organizes compliance work and sends reminders. You remain responsible for reviewing filings, dates, requirements, and agency actions. PermitMile is not a government agency and does not grant, renew, or guarantee permits, registrations, tax filings, or operating authority. A missed or late reminder does not change your obligations to any agency.

AI features

Some features use AI to read documents, summarize notices, flag risks, and draft messages. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. PermitMile shows it for your review, and you are responsible for checking it before you rely on it, file it, or send it. Accuracy figures we publish describe our own tests, not a promise about any one document.

Prospect emails (Enterprise)

A permit service that emails reports to companies it would like to work with sends those emails as its own business. It is responsible for what they say and for following the law that applies to them, including the CAN-SPAM Act: a truthful subject line, its real name and postal address, and honoring opt-outs. PermitMile adds the postal address and opt-out link, blocks addresses that opted out, and limits how many emails go out each day. Do not use this feature to harass anyone, to email people who are not businesses you could reasonably serve, or to send anything false or misleading. We may suspend the feature for an account that misuses it.

Enterprise API

API keys are for your own systems and your own workspace's records. Keep keys secret, revoke any key that may be exposed, and do not share keys outside your business or resell access. Each key is limited to a set number of requests a minute. We may change the API with notice on our developer page, and may suspend a key that is misused or overloads the service.

Bank finder

The bank finder is information only, not financial, legal, or tax advice. Rates and fees are read from public sources and the institutions' own websites, can change without notice, and should be confirmed with the institution before you open an account. Some Apply links are partner links, and PermitMile may earn a commission if you are approved through one; this never changes the order. Accounts and cards are offered by the institutions under their own terms, and approval is up to them.

Acceptable use

Do not break the law with PermitMile, upload records you have no right to share, try to reach another workspace's records, probe or overload the service, get around its limits, or copy it to build a competing product.

Your data

You keep ownership of the records you add. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Card payments through your own payment account

A permit service can connect its own Stripe, Square, or QuickBooks Payments account so carriers can pay its invoices by card. Each payment is made on that provider's page, under the agreement between the permit service and that provider, and goes straight to the permit service. PermitMile is not a party to the payment, does not hold funds, and takes no fee; the provider's own processing fees apply. The permit service is responsible for its prices, refunds, and disputes. By connecting an account you let PermitMile create payment links or invoices in it and read whether they were paid, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

PermitMile is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including fines, penalties, or lost business resulting from use of the service, from AI output, or from reminders that are late or not delivered. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and tell account holders by email or in the app about material changes. You may stop using PermitMile at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. You can download a copy of your records before you leave.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and each party agrees to their jurisdiction.
